Bolden (ankle) has committed to Alabama as a grad transfer, Matt Zenitz of AL.com reports.

Alabama recently brought in former Buffalo coach Nate Oats, who wasted no time in improving the team by getting "Beetle" Bolden as a grad transfer. Bolden is coming off a junior season at West Virginia in which he averaged 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals while showing some ability to stretch the floor with a three-point shooting percentage of 35 percent. As a grad transfer, he'll be eligible to play immediately and is in position to battle Kira Lewis and John Petty for one of the two starting guard spots.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden (ankle) has elected to transfer from West Virginia, Jeff Goodman of WatchStadium.com reports.

Bolden isn't expected to retake the floor in 2018-19, so he's likely played his last game in a Mountaineer uniform. As a junior, Bolden averaged 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 41 percent from the field and 35 percent from deep. He should have plenty of schools vying for his services, and Bolden should be eligible to compete immediately for his new team.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden (ankle) is most likely done for the season, Bob Hertzel of the Times West Virginian reports.

With the Mountaineers down to only four regular season games and looking like long shots for most post-season formats, Bolden doesn't have very many opportunities left to return so it's appearing as if he could be done for the year. If that does turn out to be the case, he'll end his junior campaign with averages of 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists and will likely return next season as the favorite to take a starting guard spot.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden (ankle) is not expected to make his return in the near future, Keenan Cummings of WVSports.com reports.

Bolden has missed six straight games and was sporting an air cast on his right ankle prior to Monday's game against Kansas State. The junior guard appears to be a longshot for Saturday's game against Baylor and shouldn't be expected to make his return until there's an indication he has at least returned to practice.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Kansas State, Blue Gold News reports.

Bolden was on the court with his teammates for pregame warmups but wasn't in uniform. He was also spotted with an air cast on his right ankle, per Tom Bragg of the West Virginia Gazette-Mail, which isn't good news for the Mountaineers. Bolden will continue to be evaluated on a daily basis, and his next chance to return will come Saturday at Baylor.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden (ankle) did not play against Kansas on Saturday.

Bolden has now missed five consecutive games after suffering the ankle injury Jan. 26 against Tennessee. The Mountaineers have a quick turnaround as they face Kansas State on Monday, while Bolden remains without an official timetable for his return.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Texas due to an ankle injury.

Bolden has been sidelined since sustaining the injury Jan. 26 at Tennessee and seems likely to remain out Saturday. The junior guard is averaging 12.2 points and 2.5 assists over 21.4 minutes as Brandon Knapper and Jermaine Haley should continue to handle the point for the Mountaineers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden (illness) scored 12 points (4-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with four steals and two assists off the bench in the win over Kansas on Saturday.

Bolden was replaced by Chase Harler in the starting lineup and could continue to be a reserve going forward. The 6-0 junior could supply instant offense off the bench. He is a defensive minus, despite his four steals on Saturday. The Mountaineers won for the first time in Big 12 play.
